Girl Power by swiftgmoon Girl Power by swiftgmoon
In the Air Force the physical training standards for women are different than for men. My junior team member (shown here) thinks that's dumb.

Yeah. She was pretty cool to work with. Classic moxie and aplomb.

Next to her. They've got us wearing some kind of newfangled helmet that makes it next to impossible to get good eye relief especially with as low as they mount the scope on the 107s. Our reviews have not been glowing, I don't expect they'll field it. Good for Hollywood photos though.

I tend to agree with your junior member--I've always thought that women can do the same job they should get the same training, same treatment, same pay and same advancement opportunities. I think this shot is awesome and I would just bet there isn't a ladies shooting box out in the field and the makers of the rules wouldn't mind a bit if it was her shot that saved thier lives (not that the actual rule makers would ever be caught out in the field)

If I ever do complete TACP training after basic, I want her as my JTAC.

Best of luck. TACP is a good job.
